Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) (3 TESLA)

SIEMENS 3 TESLA
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a painless, non-invasive, cross-sectional medical imaging method that provides high-resolution imaging of the body's interior using a strong magnetic field (magnet), radio waves, and advanced computers with specialized software. It is a modality that does not use ionizing radiation, which can be harmful, unlike direct X-ray radiographs (röntgen) and computed tomography (CT).
The bone density is calculated from the difference between the X-rays emitted from the tube and the X-rays measured by the detector, which represents the amount of calcium – bone density – in the bone being measured. Although there are different methods for bone density measurement, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) has been reported as the best method. Our center's DEXA system bone densitometer device can also measure the entire body fat percentage.
